What Is The Youth Leadership Collective
The RH Youth Leadership Collective is a core component of our mission—a space for young people to grow into leadership, not someday, but now.
This is where youth step up as builders, guides, creators, and mentors.
They help lead rides, design events, shape programs, and steward the land—with real responsibility, mentorship, and support.

What They Do
- Help lead rides, trail days, and community events
- Represent RH at school, community, and partner functions
- Assist in training and onboarding younger members
- Contribute to decision-making and planning processes
- Develop personal goals and work toward a legacy project
- Receive coaching in leadership, communication, and problem solving
What They Gain
- Mentorship from adult leaders and seasoned coaches

Join The Collective
RH youth (typically ages 13–22) are invited to apply or be nominated for leadership roles based on their participation and interest.
We welcome:
- Shredders and INSIGHT riders
- Trail Works volunteers
- Event participants and youth attendees
- Curious, driven, creative youth looking to lead
Committees & Working Groups
As RH grows, so does the opportunity for youth to serve on committees focused on:
- Trail design and conservation
- Community engagement and education
- Event planning and promotions
- Team development and peer support
- Youth wellness and mental health advocacy
Youth will serve alongside adult mentors, and be given real say and real tasks.
